The myth about an elephant graveyard inspired Carlos Casas to develop the film and project “Cemetery. Journeys to the Elephant Graveyard and Beyond.” We had the pleasure of collaborating with Casas to create the publication dedicated to the project, overseeing the photographic editing and designing the graphical layout with the unconventional editor of travel stories, Humboldt Books.

The book compiles different archival materials, location photography, drawings, diagrams, collages, and movie frames accumulated by Casas between 2009 and 2019 for a film that crosses the boundaries between, art, nature documentary and also the ability of cinema to move us, influence us and shape us.
